Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear deep red colour lasting pink head. Artificial raspberry juice aroma. More of the same in the mouth. Yes too artificial without enough base beer. Ok.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear cerise colour lasting thick pink head. Sweet artificial fruit aroma. Something more like a beer in the mouth. I mean it is quite definitely a beer. More artificial cherry flavouring throughout. It’s absolutely fine. Not overly sweet. I quite enjoyed it for the 3 minutes in lasted in the glass.

*Nettes, nicht zu tiefes Witbier. Mild-hefig, nicht zu tief, rund und süffig.

*Old rating, best before 03.10. Karamel, süßlich-weich, malzig mit nicht zu viel Herbe. Süßlich-getreidig, vielleicht zu süßlich, süffig, interessant.
Earlier Rating: 1/9/2014 Total Score: 3.3
Many thanks to thistybird for sharing! The nose is strange. A bit like burned plastic. The beer itself starts mild and smooth, slightly malty, a bit grainy. The mainpart is full-flavoured, malty, grainy and quite easy to drink. The aftertaste is long, not too sweet, nicely malty-grainy.
--> Nice beer, but nothing that special. --> 10/11/11/11

Bottle [I think from trade with EricKok, thanks!] @ weekly tasting shared with Joes and Thompson. Clear rusty dark orange color, small to average sized off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is lightly malts, quite herbal or spicy, lightly floral. Tastes about the same: lightly malts, herbs or spices, lightly floral, sweetish and the slightest hint of smoke. Average body and carbonation. Not bad but not my thing at all.
