Keg at Craft Conondrum, Charleston ’burbs, 18/02/15. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is light chocolate, roast malt, liquorice, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises light chocolate, dark fruit, biscuit, roast malt. Medium to light body, a touch thin, semi drying close. Adequate, a little on the thin/watery side, when you name a beer ’CHOCOnaut’ I expect to get some chocolate!

Keg at Craft Conundrum, Charleston ’burbs, 18/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate tan covering. Nose is nutty, light roast, toffee, caramel fudge. Taste comprises light soap, dark fruit, toffee, salty licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #123. Keg at Brewvival. Pours a hazy orange with a thin frothy head. Jalapenos dominate the aroma. The taste is jalapeno, vinegar, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering heat.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #122. Keg at Brewvival. Pours a clear copper with a thin fizzy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of piney, resin hops and caramel malt. The taste is tropical, citrus, piney hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied.

Murky black with creamy brown head. Nose is nutty, malty, crackers, dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, lacto, chocolate, nuts, molasses. Full sticky finish. Missed the coconut.

Tap@Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer, Charleston. Yellowy golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is citrusy with plenty of lemon peel. The flavour is quite spiced with grapefruity’ness, orange and citric’ness. Overall a nice complex witbier.

[ As Frothy Beard ¡Ándale! Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, chili, vinegar, pickled jalapeno chili - pickled chili, earthy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, chili, pickled jalapeno chili, pale malt, chili warm - chili hot. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141227]

Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is herbal, chili and veggie. Soapy. Citric. Fruity and sourish. Citric and herbal finish. Chili bite into the far finish. Interesting.

Slightly hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malt, spices, jalepeno and herbs. Flavour is malt, spices, jalepeno, herbs, medium sweet, little hot, little sweet and a little bitter.
