0.75l corked bottle from lot b2/3/13. Nice big pop on the cork here. In the glass the big really noisy white bubbly almost fizzing head quickly fades only leading small islands of foam over a clear pinkish hued golden body. Smells really nice this. Earthy yellow apples with a sharp grapey white wine tone that compliments the apples in a really surprising and good way. It's really high carbonated this, lots and lots of almost aggressive bubbles wrapped in a thin oily mouthfeel. More earthy apples in the taste. Wood, traces of mouthdrying cork and something that really reminds me of sangria. Fruity strawberries and raspberries with apples and blueberries. Quit fruity indeed. Not really disturbing the abv at all really. Semi dry finish with traces of butter (the good kind of butter). Yeah, I liked this. Will probably have this again. 12.04.2014

Cider with a champagne touch. Or the other way if you like.
Clear pale golden color with a bubbly head that soon vanish. Ok intensity in the aroma. Quite moderate body for an 11% cider. A bit dry texture. Fizzy champagne like carbonation. Apples, fruity and mild citric flavor. well masked alcohol.

Extreme slimline clear 375 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. Vintage 2012, ABV is 10%. Deep cognac colour, no carbonation. Intense aroma of concentrated cider and apple juice, Very sweet and equally intense flavour of concentrated cider and apple juice. Worth the high price? Well, maybe once, but it won’t be my daily indulgence. Lovely stuff though.

2012 Vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a beautiful clear dark amber with a tiny head. Nose brings out loads of treacle toffee, caramel apple and brown sugar. Flavour is intensely sweet, with caramelized apples, candied sugar, and a subtle tartness. Much more sweet than most other ice ciders, entering cloying territory but not detracting. Also more tart than most ice ciders. But also very complex. A unique one for sure. Excellent.

On tap at lhallen, pours clear yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out dry apples with low to medium sweetness. Flavour is quite dry and tart, with a high citrusy tart flavour - unusual for ciders. Not overly complex but not terrible either. Okay.

750 ml bottle. Clear, pale straw golden body with practically no head, but lively carbonation. Aroma is medium strong apples, both ripe and fresh, yeast and Sulphur. Flavor is moderate apples, also here a mix of ripe and fresh apples, quite much yeast and a tad too much Sulphur for my likings. OK body and a bit light in aftertaste. Quite fresh and easy drinkable, but I prefer my cider with some more apple flavor, less Sulphur and perhaps a bit dryer.

Fra kran på Ølhallen 18 Mar 15. Lys eplesaftfarget. Litt skum langs glasset. Aroma av syrlig eple. Smaken likedan. Blir litt søt etter hvert.

On tap @ Kick. Clear golden fizzy body with a fast disappearing white head. Aroma is ripe apples and unfortunately incipient signs of butterscotch. Flavor is rather straight forward medium dry apples with a hint of yeast and sadly also butterscotch. Medium body and average aftertaste. I had another sample of this a few days later and then the butterscotch level where at an undrinkable level. Will anyway try to make the rating score of this ignoring the butterscotch as I also had sampled this earlier with no butterscotch but did not make a rating then. This keg where cut off and returned to the cidery.

750 ml bottle. Clear pale pink body with lively carbonation like champagne and a rather small and fast disappearing off-white head. Light but refreshing aroma of green apples and raspberry. Flavor is like a mix of cider and fruit champagne, not bad at all, very refreshing. Body is much like champagne as well with a fizzy aftertaste. Still not what expected from a cider, but putting the expectations aside it’s nice to drink and I had to buy a few bottles to figure this one out after just having an insufficient sample at a beer festival.
