Can. Golden beer with a whitish head. Lemon and grapefruit aroma. Lemon and light grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Lemon and light grapefruit linger.

Can. Bronze beer with a dark cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light malt. Malt and grapefruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Malt and summer fruit lingers with grapefruit.

Can. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light spice. Grapefruit and pine flavor with spice. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine lingers with spice ad light malt.

On tap at Lama Dog, Santa Barbara. Pours hazy golden, medium white head. Quite juicy, citrus, orange, sweet, moderate bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with almost no head at all. Aroma is some sweet apple juice and some tart bitterness. Flavor is tartness from the lemon juice. Some hops are here but they are kind of hidden under the lemon juice. This beer is very tart and bitter. Kind of disappointed this did not have more hop flavor.

Bottle - pours gold white head - nose/taste of alcohol soaked orange peel, citrus, caramel malt and light garlic spicy yeast - medium body.

I can kind of see the direct they’re going in here & other than the flavor, it’s not bad. The flavor those, has a funky bitter thing that really doesn’t work so well.

Can. Pours hazy golden apple, small beige head, decent lacing. aroma is pretty pine tree. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, boatloads of pine, some rye spiciness and bready malt tones. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Can. California brewery #197. Pours clear red-hazel, medium beige head, dissipates leaving nice lacing. Aroma is spicy, perfume and pine resin with a grapefruit backing. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, rye spice, resinous spruce, brewed black tea, caramel, pine sap. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness. Wow, this one is different for sure.

Can 1 pint. [ As Claremont Craft Ales Jacaranda Rye IPA ].Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel malt, light rye, moderate to heavy hoppy, mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, hoppy, pineapple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140517]
