US Pint can into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass at my daughters on 7th April 2025. Light mist in the golden pour, white affair on top. Citrusy front to the nose and taste, soft and gentle body feel, melons and peaches in the flavour as it warms in the glass.

473ml can into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass at my daughters place on 27th March 2025. Looked good, amber bronze body, off-white creamy head. Rye dominates the aroma and taste with a slight citrus leaning from what ever hops are used. Not really a Rye fan, but my daughter bought me this on a visit to Claremont and has kept it until I came over from the UK.

Pint can pours with an opaque dirty copper gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up tropical mango, a bit of guava, cantaloupe and a bit of pineapple. Another pull brings up snippets of apricot and then tangerine and grapefruit. The taste delivers somewhat over sweet mango, cantaloupe and pineapple notes. To midway it picks up more sweetness in the form of apricot but that's broken up by tangy and slightly bitter tangerine and grapefruit. It tends to end with a mild pleasant cracker malt sensation. If this only had less sweetness.

Pint can pours with a clear deep gold colored body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of peach, warm orange, tangelo and then a light note of garlic in the background. The taste delivers a pleasing chewy hoppy death that alternates between juicy citrus hops and more spicy to pine hop bitterness. I get both pine to garlic to spicy hop bitterness mingling with juicy orange, tangelo and a dash of soft squishy juicy peach. This is working great and may actually have a tad too much juiciness as it appears I'm in the mood for a big boned bitter beast at the moment. Solid offering.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a nice dark colored body that supports a tight creamy tan head. The aroma offers up booze, malts, chocolate and then plum like fruity esters. The taste delivers smooth and boozy chocolate and malts and roasted malts flowing into sweet soft plum and fig like fruity esters. Toward the finish it picks up vague whiskey like barrel notes. Really nice sipper with plenty of depth and balance.

Can. Amber with a cm of white head. Aroma is very obviously rye, with q pungently spiced bready, spicy & slightly earthy notes. Some light floral and citrus notes too. Lighter bodied than expected but firm bread and punchy spices are there. The hops are not all that prominent but lift things a little towards a moderately bitter end. An involving and well balanced drop, just up my street.

Interesting idea, and half a good beer. Starts off well enough, with a good dose of grapefruit and peach, then dries out as a oily wave of pine and mineral rise up in the finish. White pepper takes over too aggressively in the fade, leading to an odd, almost medicinal bitterness. Carbonation is off, too, a little too sparkly for the style. Odd duck.
