Description

33cl bottle as a gift a from Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Medium hoppy and fruity aroma with yeasty notes, rather mild citrus, malt and some herbal hints. Moderate sweet with fairly mild hoppy flavours and a modest bitterness. Fairly light and a bit watery, but easy drinkable. Wound be nice on a hot day in the sun I can imagine. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pale Ale on 19 Nov 2014 at 19:24 - Score: 6

Hard to think of this as a Kolsch but equally hard to find the right category for it too. Yellow colour with lots of haze from the residual yeast in the bottle. Banana and honey are strong in the aroma and taste also has a light tart edge. Overall quite sweet and gassy with quite a weak flavour.

Aroma has some dried fruit and caramel sweetness and a touch of hop. Considering the low alcohol the body is reasonably full. Bittersweet caramel malts dominate the flavour with a bit of coffee coming through too.

Bottle at America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours murky nut brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and hops, with subtle touches of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish malty notes and sourish, roasty touches. Sourish aftertaste. Well, acceptable.
