On tap at Lamar location. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is intense maple, roast, chocolate, licorice. Slick body, cocoa, strong maple syrup, milk chocolate, vanilla, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

Draft at Pinthouse Pizza. Dark brown with a ruby hue. Frothy white crown. Aroma was a bit of a miss—weak and after much searching I would say a mix of yeasts, spices and ink. Taste is sweet with lightly medicinal notes. Warming. Overall, uneven.

Draft at the source. Virtually black with a thin, tan crown. Aroma is coffee, toast, light smoke. Mildly bitter and strongly inflected with notes of roasted grains, cereal. Finishes the same. Good stuff.
