Pours cloudy deep amber to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish. Roasted malty, sweet caramelish and toasted. Bitter and lingering into a crisp toasted finish.

Pours slightly hazy very dark ruby with small off-white head. Clear aroma of coffee and malt. Bitter and roasty taste, with notes of coffee, malt, and dark chocolate. Sweetish aftertaste with roasty overtones. OK but quite like so many other American porters from th South.

On tap at Pinthouse Pizza. Pours with a clear deep brown hued body and a tan head. Aromas are of brown sugar, leather and milk chocolate. Flavors are a touch salty, nutty, toasted malt, cocoa. Clean. Fuller carbonation, roasty, good malt complexity. Very tasty.
