Reviewed from notes.
Bar pour yields a burnt orange/amber color with a slim cap of a level white head. Light lacing did show it’s face.
The smell had a light toasted to burnt caramel note. Light orange fruit made a slight stimulant but in a slight off sort of way.
The taste was semi-sweet but through a malty sort of weird conglomeration of burnt bitter hops scaling themselves into this weird flavoring.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a light sessionability about it. The carbonation was fine for the style and to me.
Overall, for a maibock, I dunno man, honestly, I just didn’t really care for the smell and taste.
