Tap at the North Sacramento BJ’S. Pours gold wig a white head. Aroma is fruity and citrus. Med+ body. Flavor is very fruity. A little malt sweetness followed by decent bitter. Pretty tasty. Takes awhile, but rye arrives in a big way.

Shaker pint draft at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Dallas, Texas (Addison). The pour is clear golden with a smaller dirty white head. The aroma is fruity citrus hops and with grainy toast malt. Taste is a blend of the sweet fruit hops, the grain malt and a bit of spice from the Rye, though that was very mild and probably could have missed it had I not known it was there. The palate is medium to light bodied with active fine carbonation and a slightly muddled yeast and slight bitter hop finish. Just OK.
