Sampled on draft at the Frederick MD location this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy off white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was cocoa powder, toasty malts and wood. The flavor was bitterish and toasty with a hint of smoke and moderate notes of chocolate and cola. Long finish with lingering chocolate. Medium body and smooth. Nice.

Sampled on nitro draft at the Frederick MD location this beer poured a black color with a huge creamy beige head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was toasty and a bit smoky with vanilla and coffee notes. The flavor was smooth, toasty, and woody with vanilla cream and light fruity hops. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and very creamy. Solid.

The flavor was tart and sweet raspberry, sugar and just a hint of cider. Long finish. Light body. Tasty but more like a wine cooler than a cider.

The flavor was sweet and bready with notes of citrus, phenol and honey. Medium length sweet honey finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Sampler at Tukwila location. Dark golden amber color, lots of lacing, clear. Sight fruit juice sweet but then a moderate burst of bitterness. Has just a bit of oily sweetness but then dries out. I could drink this anytime. Not mind blowing but we’ll done.
