Can shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 01.12.19. Muddy straw colour. Diminishing white head and lacing. Strong aroma and taste of lychee, papaya, mango, tamarind, lemon, lime, marmalade and loads of more tropical fruits. Also a hint of sweet pale malt.

0,56 boks fra polet i Verksgata, velfortjent delt med skibsrederen etter 10 timers innsats på Fridtjofen: uklar, nærmest grumset korngylden med fint skum som varer. Fyldig, saftig og tilfredsstillende med plenty av tropiske frukter, grapefrukt, honning, furunål, papaya og mango. Krydret bitterhed i afslutningen.

Bomber fresh from the tap room cooler. Pours bright copper with a foamy yellow-tinged head. Aroma of rye spice, pine and a bit of mildly roasty malt (I think I get malt). Full bodied. Flavor has a lot of rye spice. Far from dry - but not sticky. Kind of rye barley wine with some pine. There's something sweet on my lips, but it's not honey. Heat is barely noticeable with all the strong flavor. Excellent. Tasty.

Can at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 28th September 19. Pours clear orange! Aroma is citrus and resinous pine. Taste is bitter, resinous, citrus pith, a nice long bitter linger. Thank god for old school IPAs. Good one .

Bomber from Big Al's. Dark brown, opaque, foamy head fades. Aroma leads with coffee. Taste adds some chocolate and rich roast malts, cola sweetness with a nice weight and feel.

Bomber from Big Al's Market.Deep golden body, small foamy head sticks around. Malty aroma, some wood and leather. Malt prominent in the taste too, leather, tobacco. Does not come off as strong. Pretty smooth.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy dirty gold with a white head. Aroma is blood orange wanting to be dank. Med body or more. Flavor is blood orange, close to dank, with some malt and possibly some other fruits. Hard to parse, given the strong blood orange. Tastes good. Fruitily undry. Seems quite hoppy. Citrus bitter. I find it a pleasant ale.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is bready with a little floral hop. Med minus body. Flavor matches the aroma. Not bad for a premium lager.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of pale stone fruit with some definite cat pee notes. Med body. Juicy. Pale stone fruit, but definite citrus/pine - aka cat pee. It is dry. It's only moderately bitter. But the hop is very strong. Tending towards astringency with time. I'm not sure what it is, but it tastes very good.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is pale stone fruit, and maybe some citrus, which is heading towards dankness. Not getting there, but ... Med plus body. Flavor is pale stone fruit and citrus, with arguable malt in support, and very arguably semi-dank. Pretty dry. Very hoppy. Bitingly bitter. Wow. Much more than I anticipated. Extremely tasty/good.
