Southbourne Ales are designed as a complete range of traditional ales with something for everyone’s taste. Quality beer that is just what you expect ranging from a light ale to an oatmeal stout that all leave you wanting another.
The brewery is also working on a second brand Tingay’s which will be producing a range of beers that are more modern and new to the UK spectrum. First experiments with an APA have been successful with more styles coming soon.

[ As Southbourne Beach Comber ].Unclear - hazy matt medium orange amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt - toasted, sweet malt, cookie, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, cookie, caramel, pale malt - toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161201] 6-3-6-3-11

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hay, caramel, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, hay, caramel. Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tucker’s Maltings Festival, 28/4/2017. Amber, with a slight, off-white, head. Easy drinking beer, with some citrus fruits, light malts, touch of caramel and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is pale malts, biscuit, straw, toasted grains. Taste comprises light caramel, furit rinds, biscuit malt, grains, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Whelming meets inoffensive!
