Description
Tamarack Brewing Company opened it’s doors in the summer of 2007, which is eons in the craft beer community. We brewed 380 barrels of beer in our first year of business; more than ten years later, we are up to 4,400. Tamarack in Missoula opened in 2011, serving the same great food and drink found in Lakeside.

Can to pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy red/amber color with a one finger white foamy head that gently subsided leaving a soft speckled lacing evenly clinging around the glass.
The smell had a mild bitter citrus to piney hoppiness over top of a mild caramel aroma.
The taste combined the citrus and piney hops and balanced nicely over the caramel malts. Mild bittersweet combined aftertaste lead to a quick sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA, no date on the can but still do-able.

A 5.3% bottle labelled ’Amber Lager’. Lightly hazy amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Airy malts, semi dry, some creamy sweetness. Mellow orange and lemon citrus and light floralness. Airy semi dry finish. Not bad.
