We brewed 380 barrels of beer in our first year of business; more than ten years later, we are up to 4,400. Tamarack in Missoula opened in 2011, serving the same great food and drink found in Lakeside.

Pours clear darkish amber, with airy off-white head. Interesting aroma of tamarind and malt. Bitter, hoppy flavur, with sweetish, malty notes and touches of some rather bitetr spice. Mildly bitter aftertaste. More interesting than good but drinkable.

On tap at the Mountain Brewers’ Fest 2013. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big nose of pine and bitter hops. The flavor is fruity, pine, orange peel, zest, bitter long lasting hops. Nice.

Draft - Grapefruit and citrus hops. Cloudy orange with a thin head. Citrus and sweet hops with some nice bitterness. Out of balance and no malts in the taste but a good refreshing IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Hoppy with some malts and spice on the nose. Cloudy amber with thin head. Piney hops with some malts to balance. The cherry is very subtle. A very average IPA with a special ingredient that had very little impact.

Keg at National Beer Hall, Calgary. It pours hazy amber, with a small white head. The nose is orange, sweet tangerine, marmalade, passion fruit and faint hint of urine. The taste is orange, tangy marmalade, apricot, peach, sherbet, some caramel and pine, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good flavour and balance. Definitely an above average IPA.
