Description
All Brew Bus Beers are now brewed at Florida Avenue Brewing.
The Brew Bus fermented in 2011 when our Founder Anthony Derby was a student at The University of Colorado. When he tried to visit 3 breweries in one day he quickly realized the need for a transportation service. In 2012 we started brewing our own craft beer under the simple mission to make high quality beer that we like to drink. Today, the good times continue to roll with our own independent brewery and tasting room.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy pale purple-brown with a thin white head. Aromas are very faint blueberry, if you look hard enough, otherwise malt. Taste has faint fruitiness too, bit sour. Weird.

Can at Craig’s. Pours amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee and dried fruit. Taste is much the same, more into fruitcake territory. Light bitterness on the finish. Not bad.

12oz can, courtesy of markwise, pours with a deep plum juice sort of purple to pink colored body that supports a pinkish head of foam. The aroma is mild in strength and offers up malty muted blueberries and a strawberry sort of fruitiness. This is a pretty fruit forward aroma. The taste delivers sugary malts mixed with fruit tannin tartness and then it slowly slides into berry fruitiness. The sugary sweetness and fruitiness and tannin tartness really isn’t working well for me here. Shall I “homer” this anyway . . .

12oz can, courtesy of markwise, pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a modest mix of citrus and pine and mango like hoppiness and then some somewhat thick malt sweetened pine resin. The taste starts with both pine resiny hops and some citrusy hoppiness that’s grapefruit and tangerine in nature. To midway a sweet malt base comes forward to help create firm footing for the hoppy flavors as the hop bitterness begins to roll off into the finish.
