This one scared me for tasting. However habanero is not really present perhaps adds a bit of vegetal backbone. Mango is there as well as apple and honey.

On tap at St. Ambrose. Pours a clear gold amber with a white head. Resinous pine citrus aroma. Flavor is somewhat sweet resinous pine and grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit. Very juicy, very tasty. I quite like this one.

Orange, rye malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet orange, rye malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body. Pleasant.

Chocolate, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Brown with small tan head. Moderately sweet chocolate toffee malt, and mildly bitter ash and dry hay flavor. Okay body.

Lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet citrus, coriander, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Not bad but light.

750 mL bottle from the meadery. Pours a clear light gold. Sticky sugary honey aroma, herbal, grape. Flavor is sugary honey, oak, maple syrupy really. Strength is noticeable. A lovely mead.
