From the moment they started they knew they weren’t cool. They didn’t have beards and attempts at growing them were simply humiliating and a little embarrassing for them and their families. So they set aside their rose scented facial wax and tiny combs and focused on what they knew best… brewing quality beer (and dinosaur puns)!
Hatched in 2015 by three clean shaven friends with an obsession for beer and dinosaurs, Staggeringly Good have quickly become known as one of the UK’s leading breweries ranking consistently in the TOP 20 in the country on Untappd.’
Yes it’s all got a little out of control since we first uttered the sentence ‘Hey shall we get together on Sunday and brew some beer?’. Now there are grown up things like bills and stuff, but don’t worry we’re not going to let that get in the way of us having a grain sack load of fun. Catch you at the tap room soon dino-riders!

Can watching the surfers in Barbados, Freights Bay, 7th April 19. Pours black, some head. Aroma has cocoa, roasty notes, citrus, fruit. Taste is smooth, quite rich, citrus, pine, fruit. Needs a bit more umph, but good for the low ABV

Keg at New Milton Beer Festival. Grass, citrus and a hint of basement in the aroma. Hazy bright gold. Thick foamy head. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent enough with out reaching rapturous. Edit: just realised that it's this version which explains why it has such a hit.

Hazy golden, white head. The thing that's a really pleasant surprise here is that there's a genuine champagne quality to it. It's there in an otherwise typical bready saison aroma. It's there round the edges of a light, floral and yeasty saison. I like champagne / sparkling wine and this is balanced perfectly, even with a bit of light fizz in the mouthfeel. Lovely.

This is just a really solid porter. Coffee, malt, chocolate,..... just the basics but really well done. Super drinkable.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherd's Bush, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, mango, tropical fruit on the nose. Tastes similar, hoppy, mango, tropical fruit, slightly sweet. Not bad at all.

440ml can. Pours black with a big frothy tan head, good retention too. Aroma of roasted malts, piney hops, a little coffee. Taste is bitter, piney, roasted malt, coffee, smooth and creamy. Medium body, soft carbonation. This is good I just feel it could do with a little more intensity, but as it is now, it's very sessionable.
