Bottle thanks to Deyolla. Pours black. No head. Nose and taste of roast chocolate, soured coffee grounds, wood, tannins and lightly tart berry fruits. Medium body. Mild acidity. Decent.

Brownish-orange pour with a minimal off-white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of grainy malt and spices. Medium body with a ripe fruity character and notes of cinnamon and citrus. The finish is earthy malt with a spice aftertaste. Just average overall.

Slightly hazy pale golden colour, slight white head. Quite funky aroma, boiled egg, some malts. Light acidic flavour, quite fruity. Fruity sour finish.
Not bad, but not great either. Mainly a bit weird. Granted, it does have a fancy look with the wax and all, but the only question I have is: why?? It doesn’t seem to improve with aging, so why give the impression?
(From 35cL bottle shared @ ZZT V. Obtained through trade with mikem409. Thanks!)

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart fruit, peach, light pineapple. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Stange !! [20121006]

33cl bottle @ ZZT V. Opaque yellow-ish color, small white head that disappears fairly quickly. Smell and taste sourish, dusty, sour fruits, cellar and something weird. Low to medium body, medium carbo.

Had this at Ratebeer’s Horny Devil Pittsburgh Winter Tasting 2012. Opaque brown. Slightly tart aroma. Taste is non offensive but there is very little if anything wild tasting in here. I am usually ready for a big tart hit with these indigo beers but not in this one. Yes, there is a mild tartness in there, but just barely. Mild and easy. Fun to appreciate. Good overall beer drinken experience. CO2 is fine and sizzling. I liked this, Would do again.
