(Bottle, thanks to Håkan) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of strong black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, oak wood, bourbon and a touch of tar. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, black bread, bourbon, vanilla, raisin, dates, oak wood and a warming, vinous finish with a balanced roasty bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and warming, with a good bourbon wood character. Great beer!

(Bottle, thanks to Håkan) black colour with brief, frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, soy sauce, liquorice, oak wood and a touch of bourbon. Malty, roasted, slightly vinous taste with black coffee, cacao, soy sauce, liquorice, oak wood, bourbon, vanilla and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich, tasty, warming and quite powerful. Great beer!

Can: Poured a hazy coppery orange with a two finger frothy head. Aroma is juicy hops, melon, citrus, peach, pithy. Taste is bitter forward hops, fruit, citrus, grapefruit, melon, peach, mellows in the finish a bit.
