Can/Fest. A- Candy, caramel, pine. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Candy, fruity, sweet. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- No grapefruit in here anywhere as far as I can tell but Iβm sure it adds to the general overall flavor of the beer. Pretty nice. Just wish for more grapefruit forwardness.

12oz can pours with a nicely hop hazed copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up pine, floral hops, a bit of citrus and then a maltiness that might have a spicy rye like feel to it. The taste delivers hop notes that are on the bitter and near resiny side. I get a moderate pine hoppiness that has a resiny edge and then some pineapple and grapefruit fruity hop bitterness. Behind that lurks a rye spicy twang. Decent bitter hopped brew.

12oz can pours with a somewhat hazy deep copper to brown body that supports a full tan head of foam. At least the body looks hop heavy with haze. Thatβs a plus in my book. The aroma starts off with an off caramel butterscotch note that blends into malty / caramely citrus off-ness. The taste begins with a blend of grapefruit bitterness, malts, caramel and butterscotch. It then gets more malty to midway before a small surge of bitter citrus surfaces in a failed attempt at saving this beer.

12oz can pours with a somewhat hazy deep copper to brown body that supports a full tan head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel, maltiness, a thin butterscotch sensation and then light resiny grassy to pine like sweetened hoppiness. The taste is similar where bitter and resiny pine hops as well as a grassy hop sensation are met by an overabundance of caramel, butterscotch and toffee sweet maltiness. It gets a tad earthy with hops every now and then and that helps a bit but it is hard to get around the sweet butterscotch and caramel like notes. Good thing I only bought a 4 pack of this :(

Itβs good, very bittersweet, but very little grapefruit character in either aroma or flavor. Thick body. Hides the alcohol well. If there was more grapefruit, might be better.

Can - Pours a hazy gold - nose of damp cereal grains, sweetened citrus, kind of subdued hoppiness - flavor is know no of similar - dull, soggy sweet maltiness, but the hop character is at least fairly bright, vibrant, citric, medium bitter - finish is a bit dull - middle of the road IPA - at least half the breweries in town make better IPA than this.

Can - pours a turbid gold with a slight pink tint - nose has a moderate tropical and strawberry sweetness, funky and peppery phenols, melon, sight muskiness - quite nice, really - flavor has a fair amount of bitterness, followed by a mild sweetness, but is drier than I anticipated overall - light perfume, mild strawberry, moderate to high pepper and bitterness, a subtle buggy funk - overall a pretty solid beer with a lighter touch on the adjuncts than I had feared it would have.
