12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Touch of booze in the aromas as it warms. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Large sized pine, citrus rind, peppery, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, bready, sticky, resinous, and rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Lightly increasing warmth of 11% after the finish. Overall this is a very good big DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV; despite the aggressively bitter/resin/drying finish. Very dank, earthy, and piney hop complexity; balanced malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering. Great single hop showcase.

12oz can pours with a somewhat hazy deep copper to brown body that supports a full tan head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel, maltiness, a thin butterscotch sensation and then light resiny grassy to pine like sweetened hoppiness. The taste is similar where bitter and resiny pine hops as well as a grassy hop sensation are met by an overabundance of caramel, butterscotch and toffee sweet maltiness. It gets a tad earthy with hops every now and then and that helps a bit but it is hard to get around the sweet butterscotch and caramel like notes. Good thing I only bought a 4 pack of this :(

Killer beer. Aroma has all kinds of thangs going on- floral, moss, caramel, hops, malt, wet grain, to start. Flavor’s similar to nose, but muted and super smooth. Smooth easy body too. Very little sign of alcohol. Really easy drinking.

Deep amber coloured body with a copper glow and a thinnish two centimetre tall head. Aroma of tons of hops, pine, resin and a lot of honey and sweetness from fruits. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich hoppy flavour with resin and PNW hops the strongest flavours coupled with a distinct honey and caramel sweetness that tags the beer nicely. Aftertaste shows some malt balance, but also some apricot and pear fruit flavours. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA with tons of flavour and an alcohol that is somewhat hidden, but the sweetness brings out the severity of this beer. I sampled this pint on draught at Publick House with haddon90 on 06-June-2014!

Sample at the taproom. Hazy dark orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, tropical fruit and malt. Full, chewy body with flavors of fruity hops, grainy malt and pine. The finish is hoppy up front with a lingering grainy malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours orange with some white head. Citrus nose, orange, chive, lime. Chewy malt flavor, honey, scallion, oranges. Zesty finish. Struck me as a little odd.
