Bottle at Armazem Craft Beer Shop in Porto. Clear reddish amber color white head. Aroma of rose wine and subtle stonefruit. Taste is softly sour vinous stonefruit. Very tasty

Backlog rating, tap at Beergeek long time ago. Rather thin body, med-high carbonation. Lots of acetic acid, linda overpowering all else, feels unbalanced. Only background fruitiness, barrel character is also subdued, if it even was in barrels. Just acetic. Lacks nuance. High sourness, light tartness. Simple, straightforward, boring.

Bottle 33 cl - Batch F117IS1 (BB: 18.04.2025) AROMA: medium-high alcohol aroma with a solventy character. hints of furfural. low roasted malt background with a sweet chocolate character. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. light brown low head with no retention. bottle inspection reveals 0.5 cm of yeast sediment and bottle neck collar. TASTE: initial medium-high solventy alcohol flavor, followed by medium-low initial sweet chocolate flavor. medium yeast flavor. overall medium bitterness with a semi-dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with slight smoothness. hot sensation. medium-high carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an imperial stout with too much execution problems.

Bottle 33 cl - Batch F032BP2 (BB: 05.12.2024) AROMA: upfront medium-low metallic note followed by medium roasted malt (coffee, dark chocolate). low background esters with a prune character. APPEARANCE: very dark amber to black color and opaque. slight ruby highlights. medium light brown head, creamy, with good retention for style. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium-high roasted malt with a dark coffee and nutty character. low metallic background note. medium-high to high bitterness from roasted malts and hops. finishes dry with and burnt character that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium carbonation. faint alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a Baltic Porter with a bit excessive burnt character, rendering it similar to an oatmeal stout.

AROMA: medium-high sour-cherry aroma with slight notes of strawberry syrup. sweet background. APPEARANCE: ruby amber body and clear with slight orange highlights. medium-low light-pink head with ok retention. TASTE: initial sweet flavor of strawberry, sour-cherries. evolves into a semi-sweet finish. MOUTHFEEL: light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a cider overwhelmed by the added fruits.

AROMA: medium-high dried grass/hay aroma with a slightly sweet worty background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and just slightly hazy. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium hay and wort. faint passionfruit flavor and acidity. initial medium sweetness counterbalanced by medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: an odd low alcohol beer with notes that resemble severe oxidation.
