Description
First and foremost, Mike & Cathy opened Laurelwood as a reflection of what they wanted in a neighborhood restaurant. As the parents of young children, they wanted a family friendly environment that did not end and begin with being simply offered a high chair. As native Pacific Northwesterners, it was important to support our local farmers and purveyors & to support sustainability and the organic movement. As neighbors, it was important to create a place where friends and families could meet to have a relaxed dinner and a couple of drinks that supported their community. These are the factors that are most important to us and really help set us apart from other brewpubs and dining establishments.

Admin Note: In 2019, Laurelwood Brewing Co. was acquired by Legacy Breweries, Inc., parent company of Aspen Brewing and Ninkasi.

16 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of raspberries and lime upfront, with a touch of citrus and lacto. Flavour is pretty similar, with lots of raspberries upfront, followed by lime, and citrus. Quite light and fruity, finishing minimally tart and berry-dominated. Good light tart ale.
