This was poured into a pint glass. On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a nice looking brown color. Nice lacing appeared after the head dissipated after about a minute.
The smell had a full fledged roasted coffee to sweet chocolate, rolling thick and bready, so full.
The taste was there, slightly hard to consider an English Brown Ale but came across as an exceptionally sweet and roasty American Porter.
On the palate, this sat about a medium on the body with a decent sipping to sessionable quality about it. Carbonation sat exceptionally smooth and silky.
Overall, this might be considered a Brown Ale but ya know I still really liked it for what it is. Could be considered close to an American Porter. Still awesome.

On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange to glossy brown color.
A one finger white foamy head quickly fell to barely nothing - leaving barely any lacing.
The smell still had a nice citrus to piney sweet aspect, no as much bitter as I had hoped for.
The taste was mainly semi-sweet through the citrus. A light sweet citrus aftertaste leads to a sweet wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable aspect to it. Carbonation seemed good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a good APA that I could have again.

On tap.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazed over glossy orange color with a thin wisp of a head. After the head died off after a minute, a nice looking faded lacing strung itself around the glass.
The smell had a sweet slightly spiced Belgian yeasty pear with a light sweet breadiness about it.
The taste was semi-sweet with an off spicy sort of nice Belgian-esque aftertaste. A light semi-sweet/spicy dry finish rounds it out.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. A decent sessionable aspect accompanies and makes a well rounded out feel all around. Carbonation feels good and rolls along nicely over my tongue.
Overall, good fruity Belgian-esque beer. I would have again.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice clear copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma is on the mild side where it offers up a little bit of apple fruitiness and maltiness and really not much else going on. The taste is malty as well as being a little bit roasted malts and some kind of pine hoppiness going on. Pretty interesting beer.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice looking mahogany colored body that supports a really thin light mocha head. The aroma is full and nearly robust with malts, roasted maltiness, sweet nuttiness and chocolate. Pretty nice. The taste is smooth and rich at the same time with dark roasted malts, chocolate notes and coffee kind of sweetened up with malts and sweet nuttiness. This offers up a pleasing robust Porter sensation. Nice..
