Bottle. Aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Surprising lack of strong coffee aroma. Appearance is nearly opaque dark reddish brown with 2-finger width frothy light brown head with nice lacing. Taste is light to medium sweet chocolatey malt flavor with subtle coffee flavor. Palate is medium bodied with moderate texture, average carbonation and balanced sweet/bitter finish. Overall, a nice beer that looks good and tastes good but could be a bit stronger all around. Not as coffee dominant as I would have liked.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 3/28/15
Aroma: The nose is caramel and earth, with some metallic notes.
Appearance: It pours a clear amber color with an off white head.
Flavor: Polio flavor, leans sweet, but with a light bitterness.
Palate: The body is light-medium, easy enough drinkability, lightly dry.
Overall Impression: Solid enough approachable amber (not brown) ale. Makes sense as a gateway to craft beer, but not super interesting for a craft offering. (Cleaning up the rating, I have no idea what auto-corrected to "Polio" in my flavor description, but I think I'll just leave it, it's too weird to fix.)

Aroma: Great vanilla and coffee aroma.
Appearance: Brown pour, smaller head, light lace.
Flavor: Sweetish flavor, similar component-wise, strongly sweet
Palate: This one has a medium body with a decent feel overall
Overall Impression: Pretty nice. Very sweet. This was a little too sweet for my personal palate, but it was my wife's favorite at this brewery.

Aroma: Fruity and malty aroma.
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, with a thick, frothy, off-white head.
Flavor: The flavor is balanced, with a good malt backbone.
Palate: Medium bodied, with a lightly dry finish, and a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: Pretty solid IPA overall. Not a world beater, but you could do much worse.

Aroma: It has a lighter aroma, with some sweet malts, and nutty notes.
Appearance: Brown color, with a small tan head on top.
Flavor: Lighter flavor as well, with a malty finish to it.
Palate: It has a light body, not watery, but not exciting either.
Overall Impression: I wasn't super impressed by this one. It's very approachable, but it isn't particularly exciting.

Aroma: This beer has a clean, roasted aroma, not a ton of sweetness to it.
Appearance: Dark brown pour, with a light brown head, and some good lace.
Flavor: It has a nice, minimally sweet, coffee flavor.
Palate: The body is light-medium, nice mouthfeel, and a dry finish.
Overall Impression: This is a tasty coffee stout. Well done and enjoyable. Definitely worthy of being tried.

Bottle late night while doing some reading. Pours copper with decent head. Nose is caramel and some herbal. Tastes of caramel, floral, sage, spicy pepper, and toast. Juicy palate. Not a brown ale but a fine beverage.

Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, coffee, skum banana. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, skum banan, wood notes, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20131111]
