Description
Bringing life back to life, economically and culturally, of the humble village of Esparron, thanks to beer… This was Robert Christoph's incredible bet. Based in a former wine cooperative in the Haut-Var, he lovingly brews light beers from local products from organic farmin.
In 2018 the brewery was taken over by Nadzaro Corré, who was previously ... cellar master in a wine-growing estate. The young brewer is betting on the local menu and on short circuits. Thus, he makes it a point of honor to obtain supplies from local farmers. He has also planted a few vines of hops in Artignosc, and his beers are brewed with Verdon water.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy straw colour and a big, creamy and white head. Pale malt, hay, spices and some lemon. More pale malt and citrus in the flavour along with nice hops and spices in the end. Slick and smooth mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A fresh, spicy and decent pale lager.

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, pale yellow beer with a big, rocky white head. The aroma has a bit too much cloves, with wheat malt and some citrus. Some milky, chalky hints. Orange, cloves, wheat and a little lemony and bitter touch in the flavor. Medium body, dry and with a pleasant carbonation. Bitter, fruity flavor with too much cloves. That goes for the flavor as well. Overall, too much cloves, but drinkable. 130913

750 ml bottle. Unclear yellow/golden body with a small white head. Light, refreshing aroma of citric fruit and flowers. Flavor is light citric, hint of lemon, some yeast and slightly spicy. Medium to thin body, short aftertaste. A bit anonymous, still refreshing and no faults.

750 ml bottle. Almost milky, unclear yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is dominated by citric fruit and coriander. Flavor is light and refreshing pale malt, some wheat, coriander and hint of lemon. Decent, easy drinkable, not very outstanding but not quite an ordinary wit either. Interesting in its own way.

Bottle at home. Pours an unclear light yellow colour with a white whipped eggwhite-like medium head. Sweet aroma of citrus, nutmeg and something floral. Lots of the same in the flavour with some hops and straw. Has a light and silky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A light and fresh ale with a nice spiced aroma.
