Deep gold, chill haze, thick head. Rich hop, big clean malts, moderate bitterness. Very nice lager, beautiful balance, great malts. That's how it's done.

Amber-brown, not much head, aroma is earthy hop but also some phenolic bubblegum...not much, but once you get it on your nose it becomes disproportionate.

Dark brown. Thin head. Quite fruity on the nose... yeast kicks off a lot of esters. Soft, toffeeish, fruity, still got some esters. Ok, good for what it is, but really not my type of beer.

Black. Thick head. Chocolate nose, nice toasty dark malts. Bigger than DBT, with a bit of alcohol coming out and a lot of dark malt complexity.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Light ginger aroma. Med body at least. Flavor is ginger but there’ arguably even more rye. Dry. Earthy. Spicy. Great flavor medley, tho not overly complex. Very good stuff.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear coppery brown with a decent light tan head. Aroma is sort of a combo of phenol and evergreen. Med ++ body; nice, smooth carbonation. Flavor is kind of wintergreen. Or maybe Geranium. With some roasty medium dark malt, and arguably a bunch of other things. I’ll call it fairly dry. Took a minute to adjust to the novelty, but now it’s a pretty tasty and interesting thing.

Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is earthy/fruity. Med body. Flavor is sort of earthy peach with some roast malt support. Fairly dry and definitely bitter enough to please.
