On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings sits on top of a hazy, golden-yellow body. Spices, herbs and grainy malts on the nose, sweetish impression too. The flavor is sweet and malty, with a herbal touch. Liglty bitter in the end, in a herbal bitter way. Medium to full body, smooth. A quite nice one, sure showcasing that you don’t need hops in every beer. 110526

Cask at Toranado. Very nice citrus nose. Amber-gold with a solid, fine head. Very bitter, hoppy flavor with honey and some bread. Huge bitterness. Fruity sweetness alongside as well. Decent.

Draught at Toranado. Grassy hop nose, a bit faint. Nice cereal malt flavor with good grassy hops and nice bitterness. A bit too gassy. Very refreshing and clean. A good pils—good hops, though it doesn’t quite live up to the better bohemian samples in terms of malt complexity, carbonation, and body. Darn good, though.

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a dark brown amber color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee and caramel aroma. Roasted malty sour caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty sour tart finish with hints of chocolate.

On tap. Pours with a hazed brown body with an off-white head. Aromas of molasses, cedar, subtle fudge, tobacco, light spice and cola. Flavors are medium bitter overall, grainy, bready, toasty. Light woody spice notes. Medium bubbles, somewhat dry. Tobacco notes in the finish.
