US pint, draught on 10th July 2024. Drank in some random bar in Paso Robles while watching England beat Holland at football (Euro's semi-Final). Very dark (like a brown ale) with a beige lid. Malty front, back and sides, not really like a Dark Lager at all. England won the match 2-1.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours clear gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is definitely smoky. Med body or so. Flavor is smoky. Smoky enough to obfuscate the malt and hop. Dry and somewhat bitter, but smoke is the thing. It has an astringent aspect. Good stuff.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a rather small white head. Aroma of grapefruit and spice. Med body or so. Flavor is grapefruit, spice and even a hint of smoke. Maybe some pine to go with the really strong grapefruit. And it's heading towards weed dank. Flavor is strong. It prickles. Lot's going on here.

Bottlecraft, Little Italy, 2/24. Dark brown pour, frothy but falling fast. Hearty chimney roast on the nose. Bittersweet, a little peanut-y, moderate char, ash, iron, hidden acidity, a little dense for a Schwartz. Soda level carbonation, ashy, slight pith on the tail. Okay to good.
