Bottle, courtesy of Totnes. The person not the place. Opens with barely a hiss. Mostly clear, copper brown. Slimmest ring of white. Nose has caramel malt. Some banana dessert. Earthy hop. Taste is fairly sweet. Some earthy hop bitterness. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Decent balance of bittersweet to finish. Probably a decent beer there, somewhere, but this particular bottle isn’t doing it justice.

500ml bottle from Morrison's Supermarket in Tiverton, Devon. Best before Apr 2019. Drank at my brothers front garden on 20th July 2018 in the afternoon sun. Red hue to the amber body, off-white blanket of bubbles on top. Malty front to the nose and taste, semi-sweet throughout, my sweet tooth taking an instant liking. Caramel and Marmalade in both the aroma and flavour, light hop bitterness late on.

Bottle at home, 14/04/18. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, citiric peel, bread dough, airy malts. Taste comprises melon, straw, crackers, smooth malt base, caramel, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Passable golde affair.

Bottle. Red Rock craft porter. Colr: Dark ruby, thin light brown head. Taste: Very smooth, notes of milk and dark chocolate and roasted malt. Just below medium sweet, light hopbitterness. Below medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth porter finish. Nice typical English style porter, a tad too much chocolate in my opinion.
