473mL can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a real nice piney hop character, doughy malt, and light resins. Flavour has a nice fresh piney hop character, resins, and doughy malt. Fresh and lightly dank finish. Very good.

473mL can. Pours slightly hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma has tons of punchy pine. Flavour has pine, a bit woody, tons of bitterness. Not the most expressive hops, but solid bitterness. Good stuff.

473mL can, pours a semi-hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has lots of bitter citrus zest, bitter pine cones, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with lots of bitter pine cones, citrus zest, and enough thick malt to back. On the abrasive side, but I dig the hop bite. It's not an elegant or refined IIPA, but it shits all over most hazies.

Big piney nose, peachy notes. Palate of soft malt & tropical fruits with an effervescent big last bitter hop finish

473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with white head. Aroma has bright pine and stonefruit hops with sweet, doughy malts, some pot. Flavour has a soft, doughy malt base, crisp pine, peaches, mango. Nice, clean hop expression; bright profile with a soft mouthfeel and slightly bitter finish. Very nice.

355mL can. Pours black with thin tan head. Aroma is very rum forward with underlying roasted malt; some cacao and vanilla, pretty enticing. Flavour is a combination of roasted malt and rum; dominated by the rum. Not bad, but pretty unbalanced and not well-incorporated.

473mL can [@ 6.5%]. Pours cloudy dark yellow with large white head. Aroma has piney hops and light malt. Flavour is sharp and dry with a similar profile. Tastes very normal; competent but not exciting.

Pleasant maple on a mild stout

Dark brown, thin head. Well, that's an aroma. Like whisky poured fresh into the stout. Of course it's headsy because Okanagan Spirits whisky always is. Fuck that bubblegum bullshit. There is no balance here. On the palate, same thing. The base beer isn't bad - a relatively light-bodied imperial stout with a chocolatey-fruity profile. But the treatment here absolutely obliterates it. This lacks any and all balance - I have never had a beer from an Okanagan Spirits barrel that was even remotely plausible as a beverage. Too headsy and too fresh. Kindling is good beer, this is not.

Nearly black. Thin brown head. Intense molasses, raisins, smoke, and rum barrel butterscotchy notes. Actually really vibin' off how this comes across aromatically. On the palate, it's got some sugars, probably a heavy-handed rum barrel, molasses, some dark fruits. It's funny, in that this cannot possibly be the finest expression of Kindling, and yet it is respectable.
