Cask gravity at GBBF 2011. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige. Head. Very resiny hoppy aroma. Biggish ipa lots of swertness lots of hop lots of bitterness. Drinking ipas is hard work. Its a decent if sweetish bitter ipa. Tasty though. Bit too sweet and just bitter rather than flavourful hop.

@Victors Fantasy Tasting-750ml bottle-Thanks j12601-pours a brown head and black color. Aroma is coffee, roasty dark malt, secondary earthy. Taste is biting earthy hops, coffee, roasty dark malt. Not my style, but James-nice job.

Bottle shared by Jay at Victor’s tasting at Paul’s. Pours black. Tan head. Nose and taste of superb coffee, vanilla and toasted chocolate malt. Mild lactose doesn’t overpower but rather creates what can best be described as iced coffee beer. Very smooth and well crafted. Medium body.

Pours a maple brown/red with a white head that collars. Lots of sweet malt on the aroma. Malt in the forefront gives way to a balance of malt and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is zesty carbonation.

real east coast ipa, no real hop character, pretty good malt/hop balance, good abv for a session beer, copper color, good aroma, thick white head. good beer but leaves most people left wanting because of the lack of distinct character.

Location: I've had this one at quite a few different restaurants/bars around Cape Cod over the years, this rating is from a draft I had on 10/6/09 at a restaurant in Hyannis

Aroma: A nice toasted malty and caramel nose
Appearance: Pours a nice dark amber color
Flavor: Tasty mostly malt, light hop flavor
Palate: Smooth, medium body, easy drinking
Overall Impression: I think this one is a pretty nice draft red that I try to have at least once or twice every time I make it down to the Cape.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Resin aromas. Crisp dark caramel upfront and well-balanced with a lasting resin finish.
