Dark amber color. Beautiful thick white head. Big caramelly milk chocolate nose. Lots of dark cherries and dark fruit. Slightly sour. Warm alcoholic finish. Much more like a BW than an IIPA, but enjoyable.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours a hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out lots of fresh sweet raspberries and moderate honey sweetness. Flavour is pretty weak, with moderately sweet raspberry, some pith and light honey. Not much depth or elegance. Meh.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours a clear dark copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark dried figs and other dark fruits, along with caramel. Flavour is very malty and fruity, with loads of caramel, dried dark fruits, and brown sugar. Sweet and viscous. Pretty nice sipper actually.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours black with a tiny head. Nose is pretty flat, with bready malt, no hint of bourbon. Flavour has only a touch of bourbon, with bready malt and some earthy. Confused and muffled - nothing of elegance here. Meh.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Nose is pure holiday spices, with lots of nutmeg upfront, and a little cinnamon. Flavour is the same, with lots of nutmeg and cinnamon, maybe a bit of clove too. Not very thrilling, but it's done well for what it is.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours a clear copper with a tiny head. Nose is metallic, with bitter piney hops, earthy and biscuity malt. Flavour is the same, with earthy hops, cardboard and metallic notes. Another stale beer from these guys. Doesn't work.
