Description
We’re the oldest brewery on the Isle of Wight and one of the first independent craft beer producers in the UK. Goddards has been brewing fine real ales in the beautiful surroundings of Barnsley Farm since 1993.

In 2025 Goddard's became a Powder Monkey Group Company.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber. Caramelly nose with some hay. Mid sweet with medium body roinded mouthfeel. Caramel and strawberry. Mid bitter finish.

Cask @ Market Porter, London. Clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and a light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 051013

Cask @ The Market Porter. Dark amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel and toasted. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, fruit, hop and a little bread.

Cask @ The Market Porter. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, caramel, grass and hops.

Cask handpump at S Fowler & Co (JDW), Ryde, IOW. Pours a mid brown colour with an off white head. Caramel toffee malt aroma. Medium body. Good level of bitterness in finish. Best of the Isle of Wight beers I sampled during short break on island.

Bottle bought at Coop, Shanklin, IOW and ’enjoyed’ on the island. Pours golden brown with a thin beige head. Vague hoppy aroma. Rather bland and disappointing.

Cask at The Mayflower, Lymington, Hampshire. A mahogany coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes malty, caramel, dark fruit, slightly sweet. A pleasant pint in the sweltering sun.
