Tap at Il Punto in Bologna-Italy. Copper cloudy pour, huge ivory foam with brownish highlights. Nose: cinnamon sticks, it burns the nose...really. Notes of dry nuts, Christmas cookies. Mouth: funky notes are by far too prominent, tart a bit with a mix between caramel and grapefruit.

Draught at Brewdog, Rome. A slightly hazy orangey colour witb a medium sized lasting white head. Sweet mandarin and tropical fruit aroma. Light sweet flavour but a bit thin and watery.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with light mineral notes, light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a pils like biscuit malt with light mineral notes, grassy German hops, pleasant. On tap at Brewdog Rome.

Draft @ Al Gobelet, Modena. Sold as a ’peated porter’. Brune trouble tirant sur le cuivré, col crémeux. Arôem est malté renforcé par le grillé, léger fini levure en rétro avec rien en terme de note tourbée. Palais est malté, léger café et grillé, effervescence moyenne voire haute. Pointe de chocolat avec un tourbé qui si il est présent se fait bcp trop discret. Fini est sec, pointe de moka? amertume reste en retrait laissant peu de place aux houblons. Je note surtout un fini malté proche de cara, et malt anglais.
