Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Smagning Ulfborg, 2013. Pours clear yellow with a bubbly head. Corn, dust and bread. Thin and dusty grainy.

50cl bottle at my hotel room in Yerevan. Pours pale golden with a small white head. Standard industrial lager. Sweet, lightly malty and drinkable, but not worth bringing back home.

50cl bottle at my hotel room in Yerevan. Pours pale golden with a small white head. Standard industrial lager. The lowest ABV beer from Gyumri, but still I think this was my favourite. Don’t quite know why, maybe it was a bit less sweet than the other Gyumri beers, but they tasted pretty much the same to me. Drinkable, but not worth bringing back home.

50cl bottle at an outdoor café in Yerevan. My first taste of Armenian beer. Pours pale golden with a minimal white head. Pretty much the standard industrial lager. Perhaps a bit maltier than the other Gyumri beers, but they tasted pretty much the same to me. Quite drinkable.

45cl bottle at an outdoor café in Yerevan. Pours pale golden with a large white head. Pretty much the standard industrial lager, but slightly better than expected. Slightly bitter and not so sweet. Refreshing enough and not the worst pale lager from Armenia.

Bottled 500ml. -Pale golden coloured, medium to big sized white head, no carbonation at all, stale corn in the nose. Honeyish malty and slight grainy with butterscotch notes. Bitterish watery finish. Not good.

Bottled(500ml). -Had this one while watching Champions Leaugu match between Dinamo Zagreb and Pyunik Yerevan (Armenia).
Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, dusty grassy nose. Malty, lemony hoppy and faint fruity with notes of rice and dust. Nothing special, just drinkable. Thanks to friend for bringing this beer from Armenia!!!

My first Armenian beer. Pale golden coloured, small white head, light malty nose. Sweet malty and surprisingly pleasant hoppy taste with notes of rice. Short moderate bitter finish. Simple and good lager from "exotic" country. Thanks to friend for bringing this beer from Armenia!!!

Bottled. Pale golden, rich airy head. Evident herbal vegetable aroma. Sweet and light bodied with clear old Soviet style buttery cellar flavour complimented by stale lingonberries. Strange light resiny bitterness.
