Birbant is one of the pioneers of Polish craft brewing - bold, independent, and driven by creativity. We don’t follow the noise - we brew what truly matters.

Birbant (pronounced ‘beer-bunt’; Polish for ‘bon vivant’) contract brewery was established in 2013 by Jarek and Krzysiek (a.k.a. Kuli), two brewers and beer enthusiasts. Jarek is a professional brewer, who’s worked with several different breweries, while Kuli started brewing at home in 2003 and in the ten years before Birbant many of his home batches earned him awards at homebrew competitions. In their own words: “We have worked together on new recipes for a few years now. Our goal is to make flavorful and exceptionally aromatic beers we would like to drink ourselves.”

Can. Hoppy aroma and taste, tropical fruit, mostly pineapple, light to medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy fruity bitter finish. Ok.

Bardzo tropikalne i białe owoce. Barwa multiwitamina, mętne, piana znika do niskiej, lacing obecny. Goryczka zaznaczona, łodygowa, trochę tępa. Soczyste, owocowe, pijalne. Przyjemne.

Tap, Zil Verne. Deep golden with thick white head. Aroma of caramel, moderate citrus hops. Taste, caramel, ripe fruit, yeast, harsh hoppy bitterness. Too boozy.

Tap at Zil verne. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Assertive strength, with med-light booziness, also moderate over-ripe rotten fruitiness. Otherwise medium caramelly, rotten-fruit sweetness, high bitterness with a sharp earthy edge. Hops character does not utilize the 6 hops used, seems underwhelming, with med-low intensity. Vague grassy citrusy flavour.

Białe owoce, ziołowe, tropiki. Miedziane, opalizujące, piękna i trwała piana, lacing obecny. Goryczka bardzo wysoka, ziołowa, łodygowa, długa. Dość słodkie, gładkie, pełne. Ciekawe.

From tap @ Meetnica in Bratislava. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is deep gold, hazy. Aroma is orange, grapefruits, caramel touch, mellow tropical fruits. Taste is full malty base, orange, grapefruit, peach, grapes, tropical fruits, long lasting prominent bitterness, if your like it bitter then ok, enjoyed.
