12 oz. can. Pours a sickly, hazy, yellow color, with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is light gentian root, dried guava, pine, straw, and orange pith. Dusty and dry-ish, with a mild bitterness. Light body, with a watery, powdery palate. This is a weak IPA, but not too bad.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a clear medium gold color with a small white head and decent retention. Spotty lacing. Aroma of yeast and sour fruits. Taste is similar to the aroma. Yeast flavor up front with the fruit flavor coming through on the finish. The fruit taste isn't sour like the aroma, but the mix is kinda muddy and weak. Light+ body. Low carbonation. Okay.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a super dark brown color with a tan head and very good retention. No lacing. Visible floaties - I had to filter it. Dark roasted aroma. Limited roasted malt flavor mixed with an oily molasses taste and a sourish finish. Thin mouthfeel for the style. I like oatmeal stouts but this one is a miss. Infected can perhaps? At least the 6.9% ABV is well hidden.

As pikes peak gold at 8.7 ABV. Misty gold, moderate white head. Aroma: fruity and slightly leathery yeast, malts, spicy hop. Medium body. Taste: light sweet start. Malty, yeasty, fruity. Dry spicy and grassy ending. Light to medium bitterness. Pleasant one.

Pint at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, dense, tan head. The nose is toast, anise, pecan, caramel, coffee, and a touch of tannin. Sweet and malty, with a sharp bitterness. Medium body, with a sharp, biting palate. This is a simple and solid stout, but not much fruit.

Pint at the brewery. Pours a pale, cloudy, orange color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The nose is caramel, vanilla, light celery, pine, very soft coffee, and milk chocolate. Sweet and smooth, with a very mellow bitterness. No heat from the peppers. Solid, flavorful cream ale.

Got in a trade from beergoot. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/14/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; no aggressive. Feels like Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced dark/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive classic tasting Midwest style IPA.

Well attenuated and not overly sweet for the ABV. Great Columbus, Cascade, Mosaic profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced dark/bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive well made style example. No complaints. I expected it to be more aggressive with the theoretical 185IBU claim, but it is really well balanced for the style.

Overall this is a very nice session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink the the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Feels like El Dorado, Mosaic. Very vibrant, and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp drying. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
