Can at the Skylark, Palm Springs, California, 16th February 25. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, aromatic. Taste is grapefruit and citrus, bitter, by today’s standards. Good one

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma seems citrus/resin. Med body. A little juicy but well towards dry. Moderately bitter. Citrus / resin / green melon / lemon grass. Nice and extremely drinkable.

Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours bright clear gold with a smallish white head. Aroma has lots of citrus. Near med body. Dry, but suggests juicy. Moderately bitter. Decent flavor.

On tap at Societe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose has a pretty authentic Belgian yeast expression, with light candi sugar, some gentle spiciness, and soft sweet malt. Flavour is more estery than I'd want, with plenty of candi sugar, esters, and sweet toasted malt. Though the nose had an authentic expression, the flavour and body are more indicative of a typical, under-attenuated Belgian beer. Too sweet, not carb'd enough. Meh.
