Bottle at U Babbio, Palermo, 04/10/17. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is lemon rind, straw, melon, coriander, mixed spice. Taste comprises white peppery spice, soured citric sherbets, lemon rind, white grapes, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Quite a tangy Wit but fine for the style.

Bottle at U Babbio, Palermo, 03/10/17. Clear golden with a big head of white bubbles. Nose is lemon rind, straw, toasted grains, light herb, pale malts. Tatste comprises citric zest, light peppery spice, grains, lemon rind, floral notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bite. Decent lightly hopped pils ... refreshing in the Palermo heat.

Hazy yellow color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is malty, citrus. Taste is citrus, medium bitterness. Dry finish. Not really an usual pilsner, but very nice.

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 5th April 16. Pours slightly hazy, lovely fluffy head. Aroma is super fresh grains, hops. Taste is delicious, fresh hops, slight sour, slight spice, some yeast. Fantastic, a hoppy flavoursome pilsner

Bottle with a great Pizza in Modica, Sicily. Rating found on a loose piece of paper in a notebook! Very hazy gold beerm big pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Fresh pale malts, touch of malt cream. Reasonable hops - marmalade orange, lesser tangerine. Minerals. Finishes crisp with a reasonable bitterness. Nice beer, clean, well balanced and refreshing.

Cloudy brown color, with large head, loud cap explosion (no gushing though), and floaters. Aroma of white sugar, and light wine, not fruity/perfumy as expected. The mouthfeel is too much carbonated, rather dry, with not much malt or zibibbo flavor, evident yeast instead, and light liquorice. Also the alcohol is clearly present (probably higher than 8.5%).
I suspect that it refermented in the bottle and the final result is no longer what was in the brewer’s plans.
