Cask (GBBF 2010) - Gold/amber in colour. Grapefruit, pineapple and peach in the aroma. Bitter and hoppy taste with tangy grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit detected. Tasty and enjoyable, even though it could do with a bit more balance.

@Wenlock. Medium brown. Thin cask head. The aroma has lots of vanilla. Taste is fairly sweet, dominated by vanilla. Doesnโt come together - vanilla is the west coast of what? Madagascar?

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer. No head, no carbonation. Semi dry palate. Reasonably well balanced. Bitterish orange with a trace of apple. Finishes very dry. Nice enough flavour but too dry and too flat.

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Slightly hazy gold beer. Residual suddy head. Semi dry and semi criso palate. Crisp orangey hops with a little marmalade and a little spice. A whisper of sulphur doesnโt detract too much. Good effort!
