Draft. A- Rye bread, bitter, dishwater, ass. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Malty, bitter, biscuits, pine, rye. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish. O- In my eyes, this would never had been released. Absolutely awful. Nothing good about it.

Draft. A- Chocolate milk, whiskey, oak. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Chocolate, subtle whisky, milky. P- Full body, creamy texture, flat carbonation, smooth finish. O- Finally glad these guy’s did not only an Imperial Stout but a barrel aged one. My big letdown is they had to go and serve it on nitro! The nitro tap really hurt this beer. It could have been amazing but the nitro really put a damper on a lot of the flavors here. Then again most of Thunderheads regulars probably couldn’t handle a "big" beer. Also the name is basically the reputation here. These guys could care less what you think of the beer even if suggestions could help it. And while I liked it a lot (minus the nitro), it’s still not worth $12 for a pint!

Draft. A- Malty, moldy, subtle citrus. A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head. T- Malty, peat, mild sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- Very bland and really boring. I can’t think of much to say here other than they need to take this back to the drawing boards.

Draft. A- Subtle pine, weak. A- Brown color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Malty, pine, bitter, abrasive. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish. O- Let’s first look as the positives of this beer. It’s called Double Duster. Dusters were my high school mascots about 30 miles from here so my childhood pride wants to pretend to think this beer is named after that. Thankfully as bad as high school was it wasn’t as bad as this beer. Awful. Looks nasty, like murky swamp water. The taste is nothing but an overload of caramel malts and bitterness.

Draft. A- Citrus, apples, lemon. A-Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Apple juice, lemon peel. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- Surprise! Another wheat beer, another apple beer, another average beer from Thunderhead. It wasn’t bad though. Not near as much cider like as the other Apple Wheat they do with honey I believe.

Draft. A- Weak, faint peaches, gummies. A- Amber orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Subtle peaches, gummies, playdough. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- I’d heard from friends this new limited beer was awful and not worth even tasting. I disagree. It’s basically their Peach Wheat to a degree which everyone loves. The peach is pretty weak, in fact, the beer as a whole is weak and boring but has potential. Up the peach, up the flavor and it could be alright. But as it, it leaves more than a lot to be desired.

Draft. A- Subtle pumpkin, lemon cleaner, perfume, spices. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Pumpkin, gourds, spices, cleaner, harsh. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, abrasive finish. O- Enough is enough. This is about the 4th or 5th pumpkin related beer Thunderhead has brewed this year, none of which were good. And it’s yet another variation of their base Honey Wheat beer. I think it’s time to stop with the pumpkin and stop with the honey wheat, not combine them. Not good at all.

Draft. A- Coffee, roasty, espresso, dark cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Black coffee, roasted, dry cocoa, slightly bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, dry roasted bitter finish. O- This is most definitely a beer Thunderhead needs to be brewing regularly. Possibly the best beer they have ever brewed. Looking at rates, it looks like it used to be a yearly lineup but they must have taken a long break. Well I hope it’s back to stay. The aroma and appearance are on par with the likes of Founders Breakfast stout. The palate was good but a little tweaking would make it great. Just a tad too heavy on the bitterness and roasted notes. It came out very dry. Can’t honestly complain thought. Just wish it was a regular beer and canned. Very tasty. Reminded me a lot of those chocolate covered espresso beans you can buy but in liquid form.

Draft. A- Mixed berries, alcohol, cucumbers. A- Pink color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Berries, alcohol, perfume, subtle vinegar. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sharp finish. O- Meh. This didn’t really work. Had a mixed berry flavor to it and the rhubarb was mostly undetectable. Probably wouldn’t have even know it was in there had they not mentioned it. Some alcohol burn and a tinge of a pickle juice sourness. I like the idea but not the beer so much.
