Amundsen Bryggeri is an Oslo-based brewery focused on producing craft beers of the highest quality for the non-conformists out there.

Our motto is Created by Craftsmen as we see we ourselves as modern day craftsmen; hand-crafting and producing ales, lagers and sours.

At Amundsen we not only believe in, but strive to innovate, be creative and create world class beers from only the finest ingredients we can lay our hands on. Our international team packs decades of combined experience and stand by every single product that leaves our doors. As Oslo´s largest brewery and one of Norways fastest growing breweries we have been following an organic growth from the starting days at our 5hl brew pub in 2011. Shortly after building our first production facility in 2013 with a modest 10HL system. With growing demand and space becoming tight we further expanding into a brand new 3500m2 42HL brewplant in 2016. Here we hope to stay and grow for many more years to come. Quality, consistency, Innovation and Passion is what drives us from day to day.

Big fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, weeds, wet leafs, butterscotch, wet hops, flowers, wet cardboard, sap, minerals, light malts. Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, hay, flowers, wet leafs, wet cardboard, sap, butterscotch, wet hops, minerals. Medium bitterness, harsh floral mouthfeel. Drainpour.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, peach, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, peach, pineapple, tropical fruit, sweet. Enjoyable IPA.

Can shared in London / thanks to Mitchy. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy, white froth. Juicy citrus in the nose, tangerine, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with light minerality, some ripe citrus, pale bread, pine needles. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, some piney resin, minerals, tangerine. Good stuff.

Bottle shared at the Leighton mega 20k tasting. 1/03/2017. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A dull brown golden orange coloured pour with a loose greyish white head. Aroma is sweet mango, juicy midget gems, caramel. Flavour is composed of caramel, brown sugars, grassy, jammy fruits. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation jammy. Ok.

Pours hazy pink with a off-white head. Aroma is tart with notes of malt, raspberry and salt. Taste is light sweet and light sour with a long raspberry, salty and tart finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can, enjoyed 11 months before bbd. Pours ever so slightly cloudy light yellow, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is spicy hops, with citrus peel and some grassy notes, as well as malts with cereals and bread. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is crisp, spicy hops, with pine, lemon peel and some grassy notes, as well as some malty notes with cereals.

From tap at Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri, Oslo, with IJ 12.02.17. Cloudy pink peach colour. Small white head. Aroma of lime and Pink Panther Soda. Taste of sour redcurrants and lime and Pink Panther Soda. Odd, but refreshing.

From tap at Beer Palace, Oslo, with IJ 12.02.17. Hazy dark straw colour. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste moderately bitter tropical fruits and citrus. Slightly earthy. Thirteen a dozen.

330 ml bottle, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale straw colour, large white head. Aroma of lemon peel, hints of coriander and cloves. Citrussy and somewhat "perfumed" flavour, notes of lemon peel, hints of soap and spices. Moderate hops.
