Description
The more than 725-year-old beer tradition in Litovel dates back to 1291, when King Wenceslas II granted the city the mile right. This privilege allowed only the Litovel burghers to brew and tap beer within a radius of one medieval mile, i.e. in a vicinity of approximately seven kilometres. In the Middle Ages, beer was brewed in a brewing house, which was then located at Litovel 57. Those with brewing rights were among the most affluent people, and played a significant role in managing the city. Even contemporary Litovel beer is brewed using classic processes, the roots of which date back to this glorious historical era.

Can, 0.5l. Clear, deep ruby pour, almost black. One finger soapy white head, short lasting. No lacing on the glass. Malty nose, lemon and herbs, dusty. Thin body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, slightly sticky. Sweet taste with some subtle bitter and sour notes. Aroma of malt, artificial lemon juice, herbs and grass. Peppery, dusty. Tea leaves in the aftertaste. Short finish. Interesting radler.

Can, 0.5l. Hazy red / orange pour, half finger soapy, slightly off-white head, short lasting. Juicy, fruity nose, strong orange notes. Not much of a beer notes in there but that's pretty much as expected. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Prickly, fizzy mouthfeel, watery texture. Sweet and juicy taste and aroma. Red orange, grapefruit, sugar. Sticky mouthfeel, mild fruity sourness. Pretty tasty and refreshing actually. Just don't expect beer in there, think of it as an orange flavored soda beverage with 2% ABV.

Can, 0.5l. Clear golden/copper pour, one finger soapy white head. Short lasting, broken lacing on the glass. Grainy, grassy nose, sweet malt in the background. Thin body, medium carbonation. Fizzy, prickly mouthfeel. Starts off sweet but soon gets more on the bitter side. No surprises aroma-wise, grains, malt, hay, grassy hops. Bitter aftertaste, nicely balanced. Short finish, a bit dry. Quite decent for the price. Not bad.

Korrekt egy tmavy. Semmi melasszoság, semmi gejl, csak szép tiszta vizes test és ihatosag. Suvegelendo.
