Description
The more than 725-year-old beer tradition in Litovel dates back to 1291, when King Wenceslas II granted the city the mile right. This privilege allowed only the Litovel burghers to brew and tap beer within a radius of one medieval mile, i.e. in a vicinity of approximately seven kilometres. In the Middle Ages, beer was brewed in a brewing house, which was then located at Litovel 57. Those with brewing rights were among the most affluent people, and played a significant role in managing the city. Even contemporary Litovel beer is brewed using classic processes, the roots of which date back to this glorious historical era.

50 cl bottle from a Fakta discounter. Slightly hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with Pilsner malts, grasses, bread and fruits. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish with grasses and earthy hoppy notes. Fair.

Many thanks for this beer to Grzesiek79. Pours an amber color with a tiny, rough, white head. Quite some orange notes in the nose.

Bottle. Pours clear amber. Aroma is old hops, burnt bread crust, caramel. Body is light and watery, with a weak but still dominant carbonation over stale bread and caramel. More toasted malts. Not sure what this beer wants to be, except old, that's for sure.

bottle from bierpost.com. Brownish golden with a tall, fluffy beige head. Unusual sweet, grainy nose. Light-bodied, grainy with a sweet touch, shy earthy hops and a yeasty touch.

Butelka. Złote, klarowne. Aromat i smak słodowy, chmielu nie uświadczyłem. Goryczki brak, w smaku słodkie. Leciutki diacetyl. Średnio pełne. Średnie, choć w kategorii lager a nie pils.

Bottle 500ml As a: Litovel Psenicny Lezak 11. Can As a: Weizenkönig Heffeweissbier. No coz za nazwa, mylaca i wprowadzajaca w blad. Oceny: butelka 3,5, puszka 2,9. Wiec srednia bedzie: 3,2
