Bottle from Boise Co-op. Head a bit weak for the style, frothy and fast fading. Big banana aroma, which is a bit weird for the style, but very pleasant. Body is right on, slick and slippery, taste is sweet and buttery. Except for a bit of a weizen aroma and weak head, pretty decent tripel.

Rated from old notes. Pungent, strong, sweet cloying taste with an overwhelming apricot smell. One whiff and you start to fear the beer. Goes down like sodapop - fizzy and burpy. Seemed artificially carbonated. Avoid.

Growler rom Albertsons. Dark brown pour with nice medium fluffy head. Heads lasts and leaves curtains of lacing. Aroma is dark malt, nuts and bit of prunes. Taste brings more malt, with the bitterness coming from the roast, not the hops. The malt masks the ABV well, not even catching any warmth. Smooth and silky with a small bite.
