355 ml bottle, in Sacramento. Except for the hops being American and not German, this could easily pass as a German Hefeweizen. Hazy pale straw colour, white head. Typica h.w. aroma and flavour of citrus, banana and cloves. Refreshing and pleasant to drink.

Medium orange with a light head. Aroma is sweet malty, bread, light molasses. Full bodied. Flavor is sweet bread, earthy hops, and light caramel. Sharp bitter finish. The thick body detracts from an otherwise very serviceable Oktoberfest bier.

Bottle from QClub at home. Copper amber pour with dense smallish head. Aroma is pine resin hops and quite a bit of bready malt. Taste follows - lots of malty sweetness but more pine resin bitterness. Sweet bitter finish. Not my favorite style of DIPA, but not bad.

Bottle from Safeway-Yakima. Starts off with a somewhat normal pour, murky amber and small airy head. Aroma also seem normal IPA, but fuller flavor flows, with gentle alcohol warmth. Hops kick in late, and linger long after the finish. Mild for an IIPA, but very accessible.

(tap) clear, bright amber colour with a small, beige head; aroma of citrus, then honey; rich, balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; smooth palate

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a small white head. A big sweet resiny citrus hop nose. Rich, oranges, resin, big bitterness, orange peel. The malty background is big making this more like a super hoppy barley wine. Very good.

Bottle - Dark roast and some dark chocolate with raisin. Jet deep brown with a rich light brown head. Tastes just as it smells with a touch of spice. Not bad.

22oz bottle pours out a dark amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice caramel sweetness citrus and pine hops. Taste is more of the caramel sweetness citrus hops pine and a nice rich malt to help hold it together.

Tap at the Berkeley venue. Pours gold with creamy off-white head. Aroma like spicy/grassy hop, perhaps a little malt and earth. Med body or nearly. Flavor is grassy, then lightly spicy, light caramel - not so roasty as expected. Finishes moderately bitter. Sort of an ale yeast pilsner. Ok. Different is good once in awhile.
