Showed no sign of actually being an Alt and was basically an amber ale and a sour one at that. I drank at the brewpub near the Fleet Center and this beer SUCKED. Obviously others have had different experiences.

(draught) If I read other comments, somebody mashed my fruits... Fully hazy dark amber, good white head. Citrussy, fruity nose with a perfumey odour that is actually remindful of blueberries. Unfortunately, the taste is both perfumey and harsh, as if a chmeical component was used as blueberry-ester. Malts get overwhelmed. Medium bodied. failed somewhere along the line. Good try, pity about the outcome.

(draught) Dark amber, nearly chestnut; amber head. Very malty notes in the nose, bread, wholegrain, fresh-smelling. Bitter taste, from both hops and malts, nearly coffee-like. Full mouthfeel, warming sensation, alcohol. Not bad, should get rid of too coffee notes for a real old ale - maybe 'American strong' is OK
