At Big Bog Brewing Company, we are dedicated to providing our customers with original and delicious cask ales. We value your business. We have made it our mission to provide innovative beers with our passion for, and experience in, brewing.

Although Big Bog went into administration in March 2024, the brewery name and some of the beers are now being produced by Rock the Boat.

Cask at Baltic Fleet. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of biscuit with straw and sweet grains underlying. Flavor has lots of bread with light biscuit and sweet grains supporting.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Malty, herbal and mild citric flavor.

Cask @ Volunteer Canteen, Waterloo, Liverpool. Golden with a creamy head. Has a berry-fruit nose with a hoppy-fruity taste in this respect - all of which has a sweetness to it.

Cask @ Wharf, Manchester. Ruby-brown with a creamy-frothy head. Has an initial malty sweetness that leads to a high bitterness to finish.

Bog standard by name, bog standard by nature. An unimpressive watery bitter. The kind of thing you could drink all night and not be bothered by.

Cask at the Caernarfon spoons. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Decent hoppy aromas, lemon and blossom. Taste is bitter, pine, dry citrus. Creamy texture, dry bitter finish.
